Hace un par de días me pasaron información sobre nuevas vías en el sector de El Laboratorio, en Morcín. Este sector aparece en la guía Roca Verde 3A, pero le faltan estas nuevas vías. Hay dos vías totalmente nuevas, además de una extensión que también falta.
Las nuevas vías están en el croquis de abajo y son:
21: La edad de hierro, 6c – por la izquierda de todo.
20: La edad de piedra, 6b+ – por la derecha de todo
La extensión, que no aparece en la guía, es:
7. Cosa de tres, 7a, 7a+ – la pequeña extensión (un par de metros) añade un plus a la dificultad.
Si no lo conoces, este es un sector muy divertido con vías exigentes y merece la pena visitarlo. Suele haber sol hasta las 14:00 y sombra por la tarde. La información vinó al incombustible Lito and sin dudas eran su trabajo con Rafa y Miguel.
A couple of days ago I was passed some information on some new routes at the super fun, steep, sector of El Laboratorio in Morcin. This features in the guide Roca Verde 3A but is missing these new routes. There are two totally new routes as well as an extension which is also missing.
The new routes are on the topo below and are:
21: La edad de hierro, 6c – on the left hand side of the crag
20: La edad de piedra, 6b+ – on the right hand side of the crag
the extension, which doesn’t features in the book is
7. Cosa de tres, 7a,7a+ – the short (couple of metres extension) adds a plus to the grade.
If you haven’t been, this is a great fun sector with some super pumpy routes and is definitely worth a visit. Sun until around 2pm and shade in the afternoon. These new routes were passed on by the unstoppable Lito and were no-doubt done by some combination of Lito, Rafa and Miguel.
